Mangal Brings Sudesh Home:
The episode of Mangal Lakshmi 5 June 2025 Written Update opens with a touching scene near a temple. Mangal spots an elderly man who looks weak and needs help. Her heart skips a beat when she realizes it’s her father, Sudesh. Kusum feels a strange connection, wondering if it’s a sign from Sudesh. She continues the puja with devotion, hoping for answers, but her heart is heavy with questions about his absence.
Meanwhile, Sowmya is shaken when she sees Adit wearing Sudesh’s slippers. She panics, thinking it’s a sign of Sudesh’s spirit haunting her. Adit calms her down, saying he wore the slippers because his own broke, and they remind him of his father. Sowmya tries to hide her fear, but her mind races. She remembers pushing Sudesh off a cliff and is terrified he might still be alive. She mutters to herself, “How can he be back? I threw him into that deep ditch!” Her guilt and fear grow stronger, knowing her secret could ruin everything.
At the Saxena house, a shanti puja for Sudesh is underway. The pandit asks Adit to offer ahuti into the havan kund. Just then, Mangal bursts in and pours water on the fire, stopping the ritual. Adit and Kusum are furious, scolding her for disrupting the puja. But Mangal shocks everyone by saying, “You can’t do a shanti puja for someone who’s alive!” She calls for the ward boy, who wheels in a weak but living Sudesh. The family is stunned. Kusum and Adit rush to him, tears streaming down their faces, overjoyed to see him alive. Sowmya, however, trembles in fear, realizing her crime might be exposed.
Mangal explains she found Sudesh near the temple, weak and hurt. Adit, filled with gratitude, thanks Mangal, but she gently reminds him, “He’s my father too.” Kusum tries talking to Sudesh, asking where he’s been and why he looks so frail. But Sudesh stays silent, staring blankly. Mangal shares that the doctor said he’s in shock and needs time to recover. Kusum and Mangal promise to care for him together, their love for Sudesh shining through. Adit is overjoyed, telling Sowmya it’s the happiest day of his life. But Sowmya is scared. She worries that if Sudesh remembers anything, he’ll tell everyone she tried to kill him. She thinks, “I need to keep Mangal away from him, or I’m finished.”
Elsewhere, Lakshmi feels restless, missing Kartik. She senses he’s close and vows to find him soon. Kartik, too, feels Lakshmi’s presence, his heart telling him they’ll reunite.
